The mission of DAIS is to empower those affected by domestic violence and advocate for social change through support, education, and outreach. Since 1977, DAIS has worked passionately and effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of domestic violence victims and their families, and to change societal attitudes that perpetuate violence and the abuse of power. DAIS offers seven comprehensive crisis intervention and prevention programs including: a 24-hour Help Line; Legal Advocacy Services; Community Response Services; Children’s Programming; Support Groups; Prevention, Training and Education; and manages the only Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter in Dane County.

At The Rainbow Project, we provide restorative healing and hope for young children and their families who have experienced trauma, helping them build a foundation for the mastery of life-sustaining skills. We serve families with young children, primarily ages 10 & under, in Dane County, Wisconsin, and the surrounding areas. The Rainbow Project provides individualized and responsive services within a variety of settings. Services include short and long-term counseling, prevention and early intervention.

Family Service Madison is about building strong families through hope and wellness. FSM has, for more than 100 years, offered this area mental health services and education that helps rebuild lives, repair families, restore futures, protect communities and enhance workplaces and schools. Alternatives to Aggression is a certified domestic violence treatment program geared to intervene on physical, sexual, and emotional abuse by men toward their intimate partners. The Abuse Prevention Group for Women is for women who have been victims and have also used force toward their abusive partners.

UNIDOS exists to empower the community to break the cycle of domestic violence, end sexual assault and promote healthy family systems. UNIDOS works providing direct service in Dane, and surrounding Counties. However, we also provide statewide education and technical assistance to colleagues and professionals who wish to improve their services to Latinos in Wisconsin.
UNIDOS existe para fortalecer a la comunidad a romper el ciclo de violencia doméstica, poner fin a la agresión sexual y promover sistemas familiares saludables. UNIDOS trabaja prestando servicio directo en Dane, y los condados circundantes. Sin embargo, también proporcionamos educación estatal y asistencia técnica a colegas y profesionales que desean mejorar sus servicios a latinos en Wisconsin.

The Latino children and Families Council promote and support the safety, well-being and success of Latino children and families through networking, advocacy, outreach and education in a culturally and linguistically competent manner. The goals of the LC&FC are to buiild awareness of services by promoting community engagement collaborating with organizations that provide services to Latino families & children, strengthening partnerships between community organizations and Latino families, promoting access to quality & affordable childcare, school readiness, & success in school that is culturally & linguistically appropriate, supporting and promoting Latino cultural values & leadership among families, parents, providers, & community members, & representing the concerns of the Latino community concerning the children & families within our own organization & to other organizations & systems.

The Women’s Voices program provides specialized therapy for women who have experienced emotional, verbal, physical, or sexual abuse in an intimate partner relationship. This group is helpful for those who experience any of the following: Emotional, verbal, physical, or sexual abuse from an intimate partner, confusion about what they want, lowered self-esteem and confidence, co-parenting problems with an abuser, difficulty saying no, feelings of guilt and responsibility for the abuse, struggles with understanding "why?", and the desire to heal and rebuild the relationship when a partner is in treatment and working to change.
